Software Engineer (Full Stack / DevOps Focus)

Location: Columbia, MD
Compensation Range: $210,000 – $260,000 (annualized USD)
Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

In this senior engineering role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software systems supporting mission operations. You’ll combine strong full-stack development with DevOps automation—ensuring code reliability, continuous integration, and system resilience in high-demand environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications across frontend and backend components.

• Build CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts for efficient, secure deployments.

• Monitor and optimize software performance, scalability, and availability.

• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to improve build and release processes.

• Document technical designs, test cases, and operational procedures.

Skills Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and Agile practices.

• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Nice to Haves:

• Background in infrastructure automation and monitoring.

• Experience with microservices and RESTful API design.

• Exposure to container security and CI/CD observability.

Education & Experience Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
8+ years of relevant professional experience.

Compensation & Employment Policy:

Salary at Intezra is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $210,000 to $260,000 (annualized USD).
