Application Developer (Reverse Engineering Focus)

Location: Columbia, MD
Compensation Range: $210,000 – $260,000 (annualized USD)
Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

In this position, you will develop, prototype, and integrate advanced software tools in support of secure operations. You’ll collaborate with analysts and software engineers to enhance system visibility and create innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software solutions supporting reverse engineering efforts.

  • Develop and maintain tools using C/C++ and Python.

  • Analyze, document, and optimize existing codebases.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify and implement new capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software integration issues.

Skills Requirements:

  • Experience with C/C++ and Python in Linux environments.

  • Familiarity with reverse engineering frameworks (e.g., Ghidra, IDA Pro).

  • Understanding of software debugging and decompiling techniques.

  • Experience with Git, Subversion, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

  • Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Go or Rust.

  • Background in vulnerability research and exploit development.

  • Familiarity with network protocols and system security.

Education & Experience Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
12+ years of relevant professional experience.

Compensation & Employment Policy:

Salary at Intezra is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $210,000 to $260,000 (annualized USD).
