Network Capability Developer (Cloud Networking & Automation)

Location: Columbia, MD
Compensation Range: $210,000 – $260,000 (annualized USD)
Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Description:

You will design and build network-focused containerized environments and proof-of-concepts, blending cloud networking expertise with Linux system administration and software automation. This position involves hands-on development, system compliance, and technical documentation to ensure mission systems operate efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop container-based networking proof-of-concepts and automation scripts.

  • Create and manage infrastructure using Python, Bash, and DevOps tools.

  • Support, troubleshoot, and provide guidance on system compliance.

  • Document design specifications, standard operating procedures, and findings.

  • Collaborate across engineering teams to evaluate and optimize network capabilities.

Skills Requirements:

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.

  • Deep understanding of TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTPS, and TLS.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible).

  • Linux system administration experience, including networking and firewall configuration.

Nice to Haves:

  • Knowledge of network telemetry collection and monitoring tools.

  • Background in network protocol analysis or vulnerability assessment.

  • Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and automation frameworks.

Education & Experience Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
12+ years of relevant professional experience.

Compensation & Employment Policy:

Salary at Intezra is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $210,000 to $260,000 (annualized USD).
