Compensation Range: $150,000 – $192,000 (annualized USD)

Join a high-performing, mission-focused team as a Software Engineer (Full Stack/Backend Focus) SWE2, where your work will directly support critical mission capabilities. You will be part of a fast-moving team supporting a microservice ecosystem with multiple user interfaces built on a modern technology stack that emphasizes streaming and containerization.
Project management is driven by feature-based development, and the environment is highly collaborative—engineers are encouraged to help drive system design and technical direction. Customer interaction is common, giving you a direct connection to mission stakeholders and clear visibility into the impact of the systems you build.
Develop and maintain Java-based microservice web applications.
Work closely with the technical lead on technical decisions and product roadmap planning.
Resolve challenging software engineering design and implementation problems.
Interact with the customer to resolve issues, gather feedback, and propose new features.
Support testing and deployment of production applications in a modern DevOps environment.
Experience with design, debugging, and problem solving in Java.
Experience building and maintaining RESTful web applications.
Hands-on development with Spring Boot.
Experience interacting with MongoDB or similar database technologies.
Experience with automated testing practices and frameworks.
Full stack experience including UI development with JavaScript.
Experience developing with Python.
Experience with Apache Kafka or similar streaming technologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Linux administration experience.
Experience with automated build tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
8+ years of relevant professional experience.
Salary at Intezra is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $192,000 (annualized USD).
