Compensation Range: $163,000 – $193,000 (annualized USD)

We are seeking a Software Engineer (SWE2) to support the design, development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of operational network and dataflow infrastructure. In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative engineering team building infrastructure capabilities, including tool development within a CI/CD-driven environment.
You will have the opportunity to identify problems, prototype solutions, deploy improvements, and see your work actively used in production. This position is well-suited for engineers who enjoy hands-on infrastructure development, dataflow engineering, and close collaboration with technical stakeholders in fast-moving environments.
Provide dataflow expertise through hands-on development and continuous process improvement.
Design, expand, and maintain system health monitoring tools and dashboards.
Collect and analyze metrics from applications, hardware, and network components using open-source and proprietary tools.
Support development and sustainment of infrastructure and tooling within CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate closely with customers and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
Emphasize clear communication and incorporate feedback to improve system performance and usability.
Support deployment, monitoring, and operational maintenance of production systems.
Experience managing and supporting dataflow pipelines.
Hands-on experience with data engineering platforms such as Apache NiFi.
Experience supporting cross-domain or multi-environment data solutions.
Experience working with containerization platforms.
Software development experience in Linux-based environments.
Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Programming experience in Python, Go, or Java.
Experience deploying, operating, and maintaining open-source tools in production environments.
Familiarity with Svelte, OpenTelemetry, or OpenObserve.
Experience with large-scale data collection, processing, or analytics platforms.
4+ years of hands-on dataflow or data engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and 8+ years of relevant professional experience
OR
12+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, technical skill set, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $163,000 – $193,000 (annualized USD).
